It is mandatory to mount your transponder to the windshield. The transponder is activated while the vehicle is still approaching the toll plaza. If you wait until the last minute to find your transponder, or you try to hold it up to your windshield, it will interfere with the transaction and is unsafe. Incorrectly mounting, or not mounting the transponder at all, can severely reduce its functionality or completely disable it. Download Mounting Instructions.
