As long as it is the same class vehicle (for example: 2-axle), you can share the E-ZPass with other vehicles. You must first register each vehicle to your E-ZPass account. When registering, include your license plate state and number, along with the make, model, and year of your vehicle. A maximum of five vehicles may share an E-ZPass transponder. In the case of an unsuccessful toll transaction using an E-ZPass, an unregistered vehicle may be subject to toll violations and fines, and must pay the full cash toll fare. Also, be sure to remove vehicles that no longer belong on your account, such as a sold vehicle or rental car. It is the vehicle owner's responsibility to ensure that the E-ZPass transponder is installed correctly, according to the mounting instructions.
